It's set in the roadmap for the 2.0.0 update so it will take a while.TheoM wrote:Well ok but then the intro price will be over.
I got excited for a minute thinking of possibilities of sampling hardware with limited polyphony.
That said, i never really buy anything on future plans, but are we talking DEFINITELY going to happen eventually in this case?

Thank you for considering our feature requests so thoroughly! Can we pretty please get single left click to add/remove slice points on the sample display or at least control+left click ? That would speed up the process of mapping slices.

You're welcome. Yes, I will set that request for 1.0.0 release, it's very useful.VitaminD wrote:Thank you for considering our feature requests so thoroughly! Just trying to help but
FYI, when you load a VSTi plugin to sample, and it's GUI loads, when you go to open a preset (or any other situation where a dialog box opens to select a preset/file/whatever the VSTi prompts), it's covered by the VSTi GUI itself. You have to manually drag the VSTi GUI out of the way, then drag the dialog box out from behind the plugin, then you can continue.
Not a deal-breaker but, wasn't sure if you guys knew that. It seems so far all VSTi GUI that open "cover up" all other dialog boxes from said VSTi in the instance. Whatever VSTi is loaded within Bliss seems to dominate all other windows by sticking on top.
Thanks so much for the beta!!!

Yup
Beta 6 has some SFZ export issues that we are looking thru right now too.

Sounds good friend, you're the best. Just didn't know if you knew that about the GUI or not. The only thing now I need to come to grips with is that there is no progress-bar at all once you begin sampling the VSTi - it just goes unresponsive, without any dialog box or progress meter showing the sampling process.George wrote:Thanks for that. Thanks
a progress bar of some sort could happen in 1.1. I will note that.

This is what I based my comments on. I tested those preset values, and still get a large number of slices. Mind you... this is with simple, well defined drum sample hits, which shouldn't produce such a large amount of slices. I'm talking about 10-15 simple drum hits, that bliss creates at least 40 or more slices for, no matter what the threshold.George wrote:We took the time to implement better transient slicing with this last beta.
There needs to be a user adjustable threshold and sensitivity like most slicers incorporate, so you can see what's being produced before slicing and have better control of the outcome. The preset threshold values are a roll of the dice. Bliss still pickups the smallest of transients. The preset values only seem to change what region of the sample it focuses on.

Yep, we will try to add adjustable threshold and sensitivity for 1.0.0 release.pc2000 wrote:There needs to be a user adjustable threshold and sensitivity like most slicers incorporate, so you can see what's being produced before slicing and have better control of the outcome. We have updated Beta 6 to fix some issues with SFZ export that made Bliss crash. Please log at Members Area and download the new installer. Sorry about this inconvenience.

Exporting 24 bit or 16 bit sound fonts will crash Ableton Live 9.5. I did download the new Beta 6George wrote:We have updated Beta 6 to fix some issues with SFZ export that made Bliss crash. Please log at Members Area and download the new installer. Sorry about this inconvenience.

16-bit still crashes but 24-bit should be ok.
Update: We have detected some more issues with that. Time to investigate!

Oddly, I do not get enough slices, even with 100% so end up inserting more.pc2000 wrote:This is what I based my comments on. I tested those preset values, and still get a large number of slices.
