Actually, this seems to be the default advertising phrase for absolutely everything, especially when the product really is just a [...].

I think it's more about typical KVR user reactions, otherwise I could go and copy dozens of those marketing phrases.

I started out with the right idea and then sort of drifted into advertising language ... perhaps it's a symptom that ads, product endorsements, fanboy comments, accepted common knowledge and forum cliches quickly converge.

My own standard reaction: "is it free?"
