here's hoping it sells well, else you're gonna be lost to the bird :(
Actually this PDF is a bit brief, usually my patch descriptions are more elaborate, but i am trying to cut that down a bit as it burns so much time and energy.

Alchemy 2 can't compete with Falcon anyway as it's Mac only, but there are certain things only A2 can do, so...

Congratulations from the other side of the ocean on a massive effort. Where is the cigar smilie? close enough.

Thank's a lot, yeah, a cigar smiley would fit my mood right now. After working through the last night and releasing this in the morning I actually managed to chill the entire day without opening the studio doors again, a very rare occasion :help:

Some sounds were complaining that they hadn't been featured in an audio or video demo so here are 3 of those attention whores in a very sparse and dark improvisation:

Here is a first patch walkthrough with presets from Resurrection beginning with the letter A - which takes a little while :)

Patch walkthrough letter B:

This deserves another bump for the weekend.

Patch walkthrough letter C - up to those patches which have already been featured in other videos (crotales loops, cosmic water bells):

And a walk through the patches beginning with letter D, my fingers were cold, some extremely bad playing in there, but it's about the sounds not my performance:

Something rather ethereal: processing a building chord played with the patch Trombone Flute Swell Morph with Kaleidoscope, crusherX and B2, slowly morphing through the 8 snapshots.

You're sound sculpting abilities are incredible! I hope this marks the beginning of more to come, from you and other designers.

The video was well done.

me too, even though there are arguably more powerful synths out there (not least Falcon) the thing the Camel people realised from the start is it's not just about power, an instrument is meant to be played, and Alchemy has playability features no other plugin has apart from NI Kore 2. That more than anything is what I love about it, it's like so many other companies are making great sounding instruments but not considering how musicians interact with them, it's like someone making a great piano and giving it no pedals or fixed velocity. Camel got the playability right first and realised that for modem music musicians need realtime handson control of multiple parameters to effect expressive timbral changes.

Congratulations Simon! Even thought I cannot use this since I am on a PC with my now outdated Alchemy, I'm happy for you that you can still create for it. Your previous Alchemy libraries were among my favorites. Now I will just try and be patient and wait for Air on Falcon. You rock! :tu:

Cheers, Sean - I do have a slightly nostalgic feeling about the good old Alchemy era sometimes, knowing that more than half of the patchpool crowd will probably never get their hands on these sounds feels, well, nostalgic...sigh*
