I am now the very proud owner of a shiny new DSI Mopho SE!
Fantastic sounding synth.
Many thanks to Luftrum for running the Call to Arms auction, and also to
the lovely people at DSI who got a sizeable bit of hardware to me here Down Under in an incredibly short amount of time

I got a response from Alex this morning; he's working on them "for the next week or so, hoping to ship very soon" and will send me a tracking number when he has it.GHOST19 wrote:Haven't heard from them either. Hi all.
The raised funds were handed over to Save the Children a week ago and below is a picture of the diploma received yesterday along with the final calculation. I have cut down my own contribution from $1200 to $1000. There was lot of extra donations on top of the winning bids meaning the total stays around the same.
Call to Arms Main Auction $29695
Luftrum Donation $1000
PayPal donations $762
Samplephonics donation $750
2nd Hand Marketplace $660
PayPal fees -$1501
Total amount to Save the Children $31366
Transparency is important when handling this amount of money based purely on trust - so if anyone should be in doubt whether I manufactured the diploma and kept the money myself, spending them on hardware synths and beers instead, then I urge you to contact Save the Children Denmark on redbarnet@redbarnet.dk they can confirm my transaction.
All contributions equally count toward the amazing total we raised, but just for fun... here are the top three contributing companies:
#1 Dave Smith Instruments raised $1585
#2 Mutable Instruments raised $1495
#3 Samplephonics raised $1250
Okay folks, that's it. I need a break and might not do a 2016 charity. This years result has been absolutely amazing, breaking all former years, but it has also been too time consuming and mentally challenging, even though I have had great help from many of you which the diploma below reflect. I will be back in 2017.
If any mod can now unsticky this would be great.
Over and out...

They forgot to type an 'n' on the diploma ('...i Syria'). They were probably in a hurry to give the money to the children...
