please respond, I am not being sarcastic, i am a beginner and very curious!

I tried this plugin demo, and it was beyond fun! :tu:
Because usually you wouldn't buy a single plugin for $200 when you can get all 18 soundtoys plugins for $495 or less during sales. With the usual discount of retailers something around $420 atm without any sale comes down to something around $23 for a plugin and we talking about widely respected and used ST. ;)

Now have this Kilohearts small funny plugins for $19 and SoundToys professional range plugins for $23.. :hihi:

Nobody said that the Multipass is useless but for that price it isn't worth to buy for many. If you follow this thread you will find a few arguments why some didn't want to buy it (yet).

The good thing is you can try out the demo and decide for yourself but in my opinion they are overpriced for what they do (Multipass only can handle their own format snapins) and most here already have many stock plugins inside their DAWs and 3rd party plugins which go far beyond anything so therefore..
Murnau, beat me to it. :tu:

NOBODY - would by Decapitator on it's own (well very few I would think). You buy thier whole set of very high quality plugins.

$80 isn't too bad, because decapitator is very good. But at its actual $179 price it's carzy. Radiator is class, I use that on everything. I like most of the bundle and their upgrade price was very fair. :tu:

Great concept and really nice workflow and UI, but I'm also going to have to pass at this price. As a MB-7 user, I get more bands, AAX, and the ability to use almost every plugin I own on any band, not to mention the versatility it gives me as a wrapper for using different plugin formats in all my DAWs/OS's.

I do like the fact that Multipass gives you immediate access to each module's parameters, though, rather than having to open each plugin to access their controls. It's a very elegant design.

What kind of price would make it tempting to get?

Somewhere between $100-149 for the whole bundle (including the 17 snapins) ?

For me I'd take it for $149 for the full 17 snapins. That'd be with tax added - so full price.

I'm not paying 175 yo yos for it tho'.

I would say max. $99 with an intro of $69. When it handle 3rd party plugins add another $59 on it for the update. New snapins around $5 - $10 (depend how complex) each or bundled 4for3. That price-range would make me thinking about a purchase even i don't need it.
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

That'd be a better price alright... It would be a definite at $99. :)

A lot of talking about the pricing, perhaps it's time to listen to some examples. We made some quick preset demonstrations that we think showcase some of the potential of Multipass.
