Thanks Olivier. No hurry as I can still use vst fine. I know it may take some time with 10275 others in front of me.

The number is monotonic so it's not the number of still open tickets

Do you by any chance have Jack Audio installed?
That crashed the standalone here on start.
Removing Jack solved it for me (Windows 8.1 x64).

Try uninstalling Jack and installing the latest if you don't have it already?

@mdsp/Thomas - How/where do I check to see if Jack is installed? It isn't listed in my control panel (programs).

Well, you probably would know if you had installed it

Doesn't have to be the reason, I just mentioned it since I at first couldn't start Falcon as well.

@mdsp: I didn't try Jack again since. Did you fix the problem already?

Anyone care to circle the wagons around the Scrub sampler? I'm not really seeing the point of it. I read the manual. Not a lot of detail. Why would I want to "scrub" audio as opposed to using the Stretch or Granular samplers?
