Ok, I'll go for Diversion this time around. Looks like beast :)

By the way I started playing a bit with Wusik Station and Wusik 8000 just the other day which I was lucky to snag some months ago and can highly recommend it to anyone looking for something very deep and good sounding. Seems to be a bit of an underdog around here.

Yes, Wusik sounds great. Diversion does, too (but eats my CPU a bit much). I'd definitely recommend either. Wusik particularly has a broad range of sounds, good workhorse kind of thing.

Congratulations to the top 5/6
Thanks to all who commented on soundcloud, apologies for not responding, hectic couple of months :-)
Quite respectable placing for a 3hr track really, will hopefully have a bit more time this month,4hrs maybe this time around, although I don't expect a higher placing :-D

Congratulations to the top five finishers of OSC #80!! You muckety mux had the winning sound! Well done!

Kudos to all the contenders -- I enjoyed listening to all of the amazing tracks you folks crafted with MUX Modular. :phones:

Although my latest OSC entry scored just slightly worse than my last one, I very much did have fun participating.

As always, a big shout-out to all those VIPs behind the scenes who helped make this OSC another enjoyable contest! :tu:

All in all, my average score was about 2.5 / 5, which I actually think is respectable enough for a hobbyist competing amongst professional and semi-professional artists/producers.

Without fail, that one judge, ToneDeF, awarded me but a single point ... again.
And this time it would appear that he influenced some other judges to do the same. :borg:

Once again, I appreciatively extend a very special thank you to those gracious eight judges who chose to drop my entry into the 4- or 5-point troughs; you honor me with your kindness. Your generosity helped to cancel out all of the 1-point scores that I received and spared me from being too overly humbled by allowing me to maintain my past ranking of just above the bottom-10th percentile.

Congratulations Z and the rest of the top five ...and on and on really. As always thanks for votes and comments.

The top 15 entries (see what I did there Wags) were all very impressive works. Well done and see you all soon.

Ah, sorry, I happened to be one apparently influenced here :P
I just want to reiterate that my scores are purely relative and subjective and I always use the full spectrum of scores to form something close to a normal distribution curve. So a 1 in this case just means I did not enjoy it as much as the ones I gave a 2. Had the competition been different this could have just as well been a 3.

Of course, if you, or anyone else for that matter, want some honest, and possibly constructive, feedback, feel free to drop me a PM!

Congrats to the winners and thanks for all the votes and comments! :)
Great round! :tu:

Wow!! Thank you very much for your congratulations everyone and for voting me into the top 5. I'm very happy about that! Well deserved wins for top acts -- all excellent tracks!

I'd like to give a special shout out to some other really lovely tracks that I loved -- from Dzah, jmqjmq, Loris and zendorf! All amazing tracks and wonderful to hear from some new time entries/ or ones that I've yet to hear from since the last year of osc!

I would love to write some more, and sorry for the late response- but all my time of late is into finishing up a composition project for school (will be played live by piano, cello, players etc -- so it needs my full attention).

Well done everyone and Thank You!! Special thanks of course to Jo from Mutools for his creations and this opportunity. Cheers

I'm not sure, it would be really nice to have though. I'd probably remix it up and add some drums and other sounds afterwards to turn it into a full song :hihi:.

I finished it up though and if you like you can listen to the piano part here (though I used a harp in the stream ). I also have a violin and cello section that I haven't gotten around to streaming yet.
