Thank you once again, Luftrum, developers and participants! I don't want to become cheesy, but seeing the diploma it's like a promised land, it's like a long waited happy-end! Looking further for the next Charity!

Paypal charge fee on donations, and they certainly charge if you live in country that doesn't use Euro or USD as main currency, as in DenmarkVitaminD wrote:Nope that still doesn't answer it..
https://cms.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/?cmd= ... Fdonations
Donations from $0 to $100,000
Fee per transaction = 2.2% + $0.30

That still doesn't answer it.. It isn't a paypal fee issue if all the PP fees are accounted for in the total.. Please, lets just wait for Luftrum to answer.Numanoid wrote:Paypal charge fee on donations, and they certainly charge if you live in country that doesn't use Euro or USD as main currency, as in DenmarkVitaminD wrote:Nope that still doesn't answer it..

Yet several of us donated a little more than the amount we were required... only Luftrum can answer this. I'm sure he has an answer.thecontrolcentre wrote:I think it does ... 32865 minus fees of 1501 is 31364. Thats only out by $2VitaminD wrote:Nope that still doesn't answer it..thecontrolcentre wrote:Without paypal fees maybe ... ?VitaminD wrote:How was the original 32865 figure calculated?

I think this explains the difference. Some added extra to their total and Luftrum lowered his.
Luftrum wrote:I have cut down my own contribution from $1200 to $1000. There was lot of extra donations on top of the winning bids meaning the total stays around the same.

Well, I can understand him, it must take a lot of time and effort.
When was the first charity auction held, in 2012?
