This appears to be $0.99 for all 36 Expansions included in the ULTIMATE COLLECTION. Or I'm misinterpreting their add.

You're not misinterpreting.
That's a no-brainer right there

Yep, I bought it plus the 36 expansions deal (£3.99 for the app, 79p IAP for the expansions in the UK) and it is indeed the real deal. Any misgivings about there not being an upgrade price (yeah, I know apps are cheap - it's more the principle) were instantly blown away. A truly outstanding bargain. Hats off...

Im guessing thats why they did the 1$ for all expansions during an intro period, probably to alleviate mad customers of v1. Hard to say no to an upgrade for 6$ that includes everything and expansions I didnt own previously

that a lot of good sounds for 6 € but sadly imaschine2 is useless for ios users (no audio copy or audiobus/IAA support) to use easily all those sounds in a more sophisticated ipad apps.

it's the same problem with traktor dj for ios the app is great, but no way to use what you made in it inside ipad itself.

IMHO, NI is too shy about iOS.
Win 11, UAD Octo satellite usb, Yamaha AG06 mk2, IK multimedia iLoud MTM x2, Ableton Live 12, Push 2, Reason 12, NI Komplete.

This is audiobus compatible. It doesn't say so in the descript for some reason. but i caught a mention in the patch notes and sure enough it shows up and works as an insert.

Well 4.99 for the app and 0.99 for alle the 36 sound expansions, that is really a nobrainer, so I bought it.
Quite coll, although I am missing more sounds with a quality like I find them in Synthmaster and Alchemy.

One thing I dislike about it. It doesen't seem to have a quantize function, so there is no method to correct the little timing issues when playing a melody on an intrument track.
THIS is a major minus point for me and anyone who is not a good keyboad player...
Correct me if I am wrong and just didn't find the function :D

Good update for this app which has made it much more usable.

One feature is lacking though. Midi clock sync. Please fix this N.I.
Just make the music that you enjoy (failing that go for a walk, watch some porn, have a fight with a random bloke until something else happens).

Great thanks, I must have been blind.
Probably I also did not see the funtion to edit the MIDI for instrument tracks. I looked at the web for a complete pdf manual, but did not find that either. I realize that there is an inApp help, but a detailed manual would be cool, too.
