Looking at the upper left it looks like they've also added a new edition next to Professional and Special Edition - EAReverb Piece Of $hit Edition? :D

Post

No, think that is Simple Edition window, in that it gives quick access to macro controls. Pro window is for deeper tweaking

The third mode of operation is POS Mode: provides specific tools that will help you to dynamically set the location of incoming sounds in the space simulated by EAReverb 2

If i buy EAReverb 1 now, do i get free update to 2? Or should i wait for the official release?
If you buy EAReverb 1 now, you will get EAReverb 2 for free as soon as it is released but not before.
Unless you really want to get EAReverb 1 + EAReverb SE + EAReverb 2, it is probably worth the wait then (as there will be an intro price).
Looks pretty neat, like they have taken some GUI ideas from Tantra
Thanks!
I didn't know about Tantra but after looking at a screenshot, it seems to be far more photorealistic.
And Tantra has a very appealing GUI, indeed. Love these knobs, especially :tu:
I will check what the plug-in is about and how it sounds... I like the idea.

POS is for "Positioning". I should have checked the urban dictionary before putting it here
Fortunately, there is also a reference to POS as "Positively Outstanding Service" in the same dictionary.
Hope reviewers will opt for this...

Yeah, it was the knobs that got me thinking Tantra

Can't wait to take this for a spin... that GUI is beautiful btw. Please release soon before Black Friday chews up all of my studio funds. :D

PS. Looking forward to pinning the your plate vs Vplate. :hyper:

Thanks for your message.
Releasing it on November 26th should be perfect, then ;-)

Really looking forward to the update. I love quality reverbs and what they add to the sound, especially on guitar. So many great choices, from so many great developers. I have many "favorites" now. :)

Love EAReverb 1 so upgrading will be a no brainer for me. Question though, one frustrating part of EAReverb was the inability to save presets directly in the plugin. I use multiple daws and often end up tweaking presets to get my own sound, and it was a bit of a pain to have to do this and save it in each of my daws. Will EAReverb 2 have in internal preset manager? Maybe even with a quick star rating system and/or keyword tagging system (i.e. vocal, drum, room, hall, etc)

Hi LGK_Dude,

Thanks for your message!

Compared to EAReverb 1, EAReverb 2 offers more options related to this.

If multiple instances of the plug-in are loaded, adding a user preset from one of them automatically makes it available in other instances (no need to reload the project) as far as the same format (VST2, VST3, AAX or AU ...) is used.

There are also import/export functions that will allow us to share presets, whatever the used format/platform (OSX/Windows).

All the best,
Philippe
