I guess the power supply is there to have it work with weak USB connections (almost all newer computers, even laptops, don't seem to suffer from that).
I dinna knew that it was just for weak USB.But I personally don't be fond off the PCR-30 'key feel'. In fect, I was amazled at the diff twixt the PCR-30 keys and the PCR-1. But they are both great KBs, in my humbly estimated opinion thereof.
Man, what is UP with Alesis not telling us how many audio inputs and outputs the Photon X25 has? I get the impression it's just a single stereo in put and output, but I can't say for sure because Alesis never tells you, not in the Harmony-central press release and not on their website.
