You can sell your account. Has been done a lot of times here, and Cakewalk have a blind eye to it (actually meaning that they're ok with it, even confirmed by the guys who run this site).

You gotta know.
I sold Z3TA 2, and bought the upgrade for version 1 again now, admittedly for a peanuts price, because i was interested in the new update, and, as i said, because i consider it a nice synth, if it was less buggy. Hope they do it right now, and don't let the people down with something partly baked again.

the only way it could be usable for me, is if i save / reload the waveshaper settings every couple of minutes, while editing. it really is THAT buggy. no way is the synth worth that.
still use dim pro though, they aint completely fked that up yet

No, even though I don't agree with NFR philosophies, I do try to honor the agreement when I have them. I've lived a life with rationalized integrity before and never want to again. Even in those 'little ways' that everyone feels is okay. It's just not worth it to me now.OutCider wrote:Well if you two hate it so much, I'll take it off your hands for free. And I don't hate it. I just rarely open it up and have better things to use for those types of sound.
Besides...
Doesn't it eventually come out free in some magazine anyway?
Something I've learned with Cakewalk is to try and not be the first to buy it (or update it).
They always seem to dump it cheap or even give it away in the end.
(And then it has a bonus of being closer to a finished product too.)

I don't think that they're gone with the serial. Cakewalk Command Center seems to be just a glorified downloader, I think.

Just updated and realized I have to use their command center to activate.
Installed command center and no option to activate. Still in demo mode.
Completely removed Z3TA2 (including leftover folders and registry), reinstalled trough command center and still in demo mode.
Tried again using run as admin. Still demo.
Sigh.
Anyone having the same? (I'm on Windows 10)

Did you open the command center, when Z3TA prompted you to? Had something weird yesterday too, it said it is in demo mode, then my internet went down (router software problem probably), and the command center couldn't connect, and i had to unplug the router, and when i had internet again, Z3TA was activated without having to open the command center. The command center is probably a bit buggy too, Cakewalk typical. *cough cough*
You definitely have to be logged in in the command center, so you should at least open it once, if you haven't already done so.

The new Modulation destinations are really nice, we can finally target envelopes ADSR and Amount.

Did the update via command center. Upon loading the synth in FL12 (but not SonarPLT), I get a program data load error, even though the preset opened and plays just fine. The waveform and curve graphics in the drop down menus are gone (both daws). Standalone version crashes at launch.
Reverted to 2.1, all back to normal.
Did anyone say "testers"? Baahahaha....

Totally with you on that. I can live without the update if ever-present bloatware is the price.Teksonik wrote:Anyway for just a bug fix version I'm not installing another license manager that does a check for updates every 24 hours. I've already got N.I.'s Service Center, IK's License Manager, iLok E-Licenser and probably others I'm not remembering right now.......
