i spent half of yesterday running algorithmically granulated and spectral transform material thru algorithmic granulators and spectral transforms, took a break and walked back in to realise i'd perfectly recreated the sound of stirring up a pitcher with ice cubes in it. the qwarp filter put this sorta 'container filling up' flange on it, really uncanny resemblance.

i guess my point is you can sell people something on plastic for $20-odd imported and they'll really listen to it.

brings "new" meaning to "pay a tension"

Welcome to KvR Luther!

I'm a big fan of Steve Reich, although for some odd reason not such a fan of Glass at all..

Anyway, really enjoyed your pieces, thanks for sharing, and welcome again to KvR

ironic u should bring this up, the images of the waveforms that are included on the song artwork we do for each release was deliberately done with this in mind. hopefully someone will catch on and do something interesting with it... drop them in vertigo, wn additive, dopplermangler, whatever.

001 - :o Wow!

Most intriguing and quite interesting to listen to

002 - I just love that rhythm that is happening here with all its distractive sounds going on along the way.

Welcome to KvR; I surely hope to catch more through time here :)

I only really get a chance to browse here properly once a week. This is an awesome kick-off to my weekend. Very different to what I make, but exactly what I need to get inspired. Love the wave form artwork too. Thanks Luther.

im glad you enjoyed it, it would have been a drag to be one of the few things you downloaded and it turned out to waste your time 8)

im sure i'll have more to link later. it's not as often as i'd like when i get the chance to play loudly and deliberately for several hours at a time. Which is normally when i start setuping a hacked up mixer or turntables or keyboards or whatever i can try to break down to its bare essentials at the moment. alot of the basis so far i guess has been to create and find as much as i can do with the least i can do with the instruments/gear.. if that makes sense.

ive heard alot of great music here too recently, hearing all the good minimal work inspired me to sign up.
