Hi lulukom,

yes, I discovered today that Apple changed something in 10.11, that works differently than in earlier OS X versions. I have tried to fix it without success. If all fails, bridging the plug-in and the application has to be rewritten using another method, which will take at least a week.
BTW it works the very first time. But when you quit and restart the program, you'll get an error message. So I suspect the VST plug-in would work the first time. But I cannot expect users restarting their Macs all the time. This is very annoying because there were no issues on OS X 10.10.

Separate windows option for browser wonderful,
only thing is they are "Always On Top"...
is it possible to make this always on top optional while separate active?

Thanks for the new update v0.5. Its working fine so far with OSX 10.10. I have gone back from 10.11 to 10.10, because I had issues with other programs too. The looping function of v.0.5 is still confusing. Sometimes the loop begins at the start of the song, sometimes at the beginning of the loop -area , in both cases with the same setting. Another point is, that now in the vst-function RC has only the Midi-VST-outputs. Did you change this ?
IMO in the older versions you could choose between internal sf2-sounds and the midi-output. It is better to have these two possibilities, e.g. in Ableton Live there is no multi-midi-input. That means you hear all instruments of RC on one channel. If there were sf2-sounds too , which you can address, it would be possible to use it in this case.

Oh, by the way, since Wibem has brought up the loop-function: that still confuses the heck out of me. Where, exactly, do I define, how long the loop is?

'Loop' uses the selection on the timeline. So you make a selection by dragging on the timeline (numbers lane), e.g. from 2 to 4 on the screenshot.
Alternatively you can type the starting and ending position (Region Start, Region Stop) in the Timeline inspector (right click on timeline).

If the 'REGION' and 'LOOP' buttons are both on , only the selected region should be played in loop.
When only the 'LOOP' button is active , the whole song is looped, and played from the beginning.
This worked well for years, I hope I did not mess up anything.

Another point is, that now in the vst-function RC has only the Midi-VST-outputs. Did you change this ?

This is so since v2.9 (June this year) when the VST plug-in had to be rewritten due to stability problems. Since then the VST outputs MIDI data only, no soundfonts can be used anymore. When I'll have a lot of time it would be possible to put back the soundfont support and to host VST plug-ins in RC, and send the audio from the VST instruments to the VST host.

Its actually not so, that the loop starts at the beginning of the looped area, when you press the LOOP- and REGION-buttons. It sometimes starts correctly, but often it doens't. Then it starts from the beginning of the song.

I know you are deep into other op system etc. problems but I am just to , any forecast for the first beta with integrated idea tool ? Christmas present ?

I promise intensive testing on win 7 64 mulab, tracktion and lately mixcraft 7, but without it dont make no sense for me betatesting.
