The wavetables get stored with the preset, I don't see an issue.PietW. wrote:With Codex it is not possible to save wavetables. Also it is not possible to copy oscillators. The software is not worth the money. If it were possible I would Codex return immediately.Andy Gone wrote:Sure.waltercruz wrote:for $49 (current promo + $30 coupon), is worth?
Just use the same preset as your template.

I used to try and micro-manage where plugins and software and help files and presets and whatever get installed... but it only lead to trouble, it only broke things.do_androids_dream wrote:You can't specify a location with waves central - if it's Windows the waveshell dll will be in Programs > VSTPlugins. I moved the waveshell dll to my preferred location and my waves plugins work fine.musikmachine wrote:Quick question, how the heck do you choose your default vst plugin folder, the central just installed it and didn't ask me for a location!
...Not just with Waves but with many developers.
I learned long ago not to fight the system, because of this I no longer use my Documents, Movies or Music folder. Since that's where everyone else wants to dump their necessary crap!! Thats a bad strategy in my opinion. It's what the Library or the Application Support folder is for, I don't want these guys just dumping their stuff whoever they feel!!
But I can't control that.
So now I store my projects and documents elsewhere and I never mess with the where the developers store their files, unless we are talking about sample library locations.
I only wish devs were consistent in where they stored things, but it seems pretty much everyone has their own idea of where the ideal location for stuff is. It's really screwed, but it's just bad karma to go messing with these locations. It only invites disaster.
