Is this possible with Launchpad Mini?

Hi. My projects mostly look the same in every project. So I have 8 drum racks, followed by a drum bus, 8 Midi Tracks for Samplers, 8 Midi tracks for Synths.... and so on.. For faster configuration (and to get away from the mouse) I thought about buying a launchpad mini where I map track select to the pads. But I still have a few questions:
1. Is it possible to switch between the 8 modes and use them all like user mode? So I can map 64 x 8 pads to different things in ableton?
2. Is it possible to make the pads light up until I trigger another pad? at the moment they only light up as long as I hold them.
Is it possible to light the pads in different colors? I know you can send midi from ableton to the launchpad by drawing in notes, but I want to light all the pads that select a drum rack track blue, all the pads that select an sampler track green and so on. you know what I mean? would be great if someone could help me think? I wanna scroll through my project more intuitive, and I think by making functions to a launchpad mini I can get where I want.
