Hand Clapper is a drum synthesizer plugin dedicated to claps sounds. The internal design is inspired by a famous Japanese percussion synthesizer from the ’80. There are three internal noise sources that are used to recreate the classic sound of vintage analog drum machines. It’s also possible to load external samples and sculpt them with the same circuit emulation.

I kinda agree but for the price is pretty good given you save time adding filter and reverb and what not also you can customize the shape as opposed to going through several samples and not having that control over them.

Not that easy to pitch noise, that is the source sound
Anyway there is the frequency control, that comes pretty close to pitch.

To Audio Thing: Instant buy... looking forward to play with it Was looking for something like that for a long time. All my 808, 909, etc. emulations are sometimes not enough, because they can't tweak that much.

Ohh I was under the impression that it was samples it sounded so convincing And in the video it sounded to me at least like the frequency knob was some sort of Eq. Must be really tired or something

As other pointed out, there is a frequency control to "pitch" the noise source. But you can also tune the instrument in a conventional way. You can see in the video at 1:40 I change the pitch of the midi region and it reacts like a sampler. It's not enabled by default, but you can click on the More button and choose to enable Pitch, Velocity and also a Hard Clip limiter.
These settings are not global, so you can re-save or make your own presets as you prefer.

Nice! Think I'll have to continue on my shopping spree and buy this Done and now I just need 1 more plugin Man just in the process of making a techno track and I had no clap/snare in it this thing comes at the perfect moment And it sound's frigging good too thanks!

Interesting feature could be if the several sources, you have in Hand Clapper, can be mixed. Plus if the user can load 2 samples, this would enhance the sound possiblities extremely. Not really necessary in my opinion though. 1 custom sample seems quite fair enough to me.

I think this mix has to be done before the *source*:

Then, ideally, the sources can be individually panned. And the source 'Custom' should be true stereo, so when loading a stereo-wide sample, it should stay like this.
