Even if that were true, how would anyone even know?
Maybe all DAWs, including Reaper, can invisibly or inaudibly watermark all rendered songs? And who knows what watermarking methods exist?
Very unlikely in the case of Reaper. :P

For the discount license it costs 60 American dollars if "You are an individual or business using REAPER commercially, and yearly gross revenue does not exceed USD $20,000". Does this mean Reaper wants to see my income tax?
No, it's rather like with their trial version. "Would be cool if you'd get a commercial license, if you're making a lot of cash with your work mmK?" Really, they're not like that, don't worry. It's a business concept rather on the base of trust, which i don't fully understand either, and which is rather tailored for people who really care about these things, but, if you don't have to worry about the finances anyway, like Justin Frankel does, then i guess you can do it like that.

Remember you can throw Reaper on a USB drive and go from computer to computer with your whole DAW setup. Someone correct me if I'm wrong about that, I've never done it myself, but considering all the options, Reaper sounds like the right DAW.
If you have requests for Korg VST features or changes, they are listening at https://support.korguser.net/hc/en-us/requests/new

It's Cockos, not 8dio or something

This is all based on moral and trust, for you to do the right thing, nobody can stop you from making more than 20k's without even paying for license, look around, there's people making millions using warez and it seems nobody can stop them, even damaged developers are using that as marketing, don't be surprised by that, there's no catch, they basically made their product available for everyone and they just want you to do the right thing in return.
This entire forum is wading through predictions, opinions, barely formed thoughts, drama, and whining. If you don't enjoy that, why are you here? :D ShawnG
