In this last example, I used a sinusoidal LFO.
In the scope, after the SW CV input plug-in, the signal keep flat.

Not sure why this isn't working in Max. Are you using the correct output of the plug-in?

Hello,
It's so strange.... I've just checked in Max again and I'm sure about the inputs and outputs of the plug-in (I checked with another plug-in too, a simple filter). It's the same rounting than in Ableton Live !
I changed the parameters of the SW CV input plug-in but impossible to get a sinusoidal waveshape (I use a sinusoidal LFO to make this test). In the output of the plug-in, I get a straight signal. When I change the scale parameter of the plug-in, that change the offset of this signal....
I bought ES2-2 to make some tests about CV conversion from my modular to the digital domain, because it's not too expensive, but my project is buying ES3, ES6 ± ES7, to get more inputs. I will need 8 CV signal in Max and use the optical signal of my soundcard is a great solution (ADAT). I will need the analog inputs and outputs for sound signal. About this last three modules, is it the same operation : hardware + software (plug-in) or can I get my digital conversion directly in Max, without use a plug-in ?

If you use the ES-6/7, you don't need a plug-in to recover the CVs. They just come straight out of the ~adc.

I have some questions about the efficiency of the synchronization about the modular part and the digital part of my future setup. I need to make a spatialization of the modular sound with the computer (spatialization will be controled with CV signal...). So,I need to check a lot thinks before to buy ES6, ES7...
Have you any idea why it doesn't work in Max ? Can you reproduce this simple setup/patch at home ?

From what I hear plug-in hosting in max is notoriously troublesome. You could ask cycling74 about it.
Basically the processing is just recovering the CV from the envelope of the signal (you can see that from looking at the raw output of the ES-2-2). There are many ways you could do that in max itself.
