a few discovery that i often use and would like to share

--In the Chord Palette,
Middle click to chords will change/replace the selected chord without auditioning / previewing

--When you change the Chord progression / Scale in master track
try "Apply To Selection" instead of Regenerate in the Generators
(to me very useful especially for Melody Generator)
this will adapt phrase to new progression / Scale without totally regenerating it.

--If you using legato patches ( Synth or Strings) for Melody Generator tracks try adding
"Adjust Note Lengths v2" select "Change By Offset" and move the Length slider to "+" a little bit.

--I am a little obsessive to have my Chord Progression and Bass tracks in the midi files when i export
arrangements from RC. To me having progression and bass as sustain notes very useful and helpful
because i can return this arrangement anytime i want even if i lost the original RC project.

For this i am using two tracks 1 for Bass Generator and 1 for Chord Generator.
both tracks uses Join Notes Variation and in this case if i need to trigger
for example Sequenced bass patch (let say Nexus SEQ patches) as i try to show in a few of my videos
adding again Adjust Note Lengths v2 Change By Offset as i describe above
but this time activate "Allow Notes To Overlap"... this is necessary because of Join Notes variation.
same for the Chord Generator track.

--Most of my tracks have +12 and -12 transpose Variations
to easily hear phrases in 3 different octaves via Bypass & Activate.

--Let say you have two Lines in the Part and you want to try different scales / progressions
for example Line 1 (C-Am) and Line 2 (G-Em)
Probably i should'n enter this Harmony theoretical territory but lately i found:
when you use this kind of close scales that share common chords
Select Master Scale C major ( or A minor) and instead of adding scales to whole lines
try to add scales only to the chords that not common (Out of Scale)
so if master scale C major add G major to that chords via inspector,
or scale A minor add E minor to this chords.
with this, Melody Generator generates much lovable creations to my experiences.

-i'll try to continue on this post when remember / find anything.

( i!ll add links with selected minutes seconds here too...
if i can find the way to put video links without thumbnails of them)

PS. if i say something stupid, especially "Harmony theoretical" please just give a warning.

Thanks Yellukhan. I appreciate your posts and videos. I noticed that you were using "Solid State Symphony" from Idiginus in one of your vids, and I wound up buying it and have been having a ball with it. I would like to know your recommendations for libraries / VSTs, especially orchestral. :phones:
Too many DAWs and plug-ins

Thanks Attila, i hope will help to someone / someday :)

Hi BluesMuse,

-Tina Guo Cello "Legato" from Cine Samples
-Cinematic Strings2
-Nexus2 Hollywood + Hlywd Core + Hlywd Strings + Hlywd Synths
