Do you guys know whether Jules is going to support basic loop slicing in T2?
I would like to drag a drum loop in edit, then it would be automaticaly sliced and adjusted to edit's tempo so that can follow the tempo. Thats it. Nothing fancy ala Phatmatik Pro with filters and stuff. Loop management like Sonar does would be more then enough.
Current time stretching is using CPU and it sounds really bad. I think slicing would be much easier task for Jules to do.

I heard about a guy who knew some things about T2 but mackie had him killed. I guess he said "release date..." and then he was dead. No one knows for sure.

Only thing I am afraid is that those hitman related expenditures are going to increase total cost of T2 project thus increasing the retail price of T2. I heard hitmen are not so cheap these days. Good ol' days....

If I were to take a wild guess based on no information at all, I would say that T2 would have a better time stretch algo for sure. But I doubt they would be automatically adjusted to tempo like Live or Acid. That sounds more like a T3 feature
