Lulukom, is it possible you could upload a project file that displays this anomaly?

Perhaps we can assist in determining the problem.

Off the top of my head though it sounds like you describe a latency issue.

Have you looked into this?

Hi lulukom,

It is possible that the imprecision comes from my efforts to reduce processor usage on OS X. I think the sequencer became less precise. So I will restore the original state. I am not able to reduce CPU usage, because OS X does not offer a precise clock, suitable for a MIDI sequencer. The price we have to pay is the increased CPU usage.
Thank you for bringing this to my attention, I did not realize it!

Hi Yıldırım,

I want to tell you good news. I tested RC using your workflow by exchanging phrases from the browser. Several memory leaks were localized and removed. The freezes were due to extreme memory allocations which won't happen anymore. Especially when the phrase inspector was open, and working with phrases with more than 300 states in the local history made things very bad.
I am happy because these fixes will result overall stability improvements.

My opinion is biased

I hope others will comment.
I think it is stable enough, but please keep in mind that there will be changes very soon about the rhythm generators* that may break compatibility with existing composition files. I will do my best to keep it compatible with old files.

Hi moonmadness,
i am using both v2 and v3 beta side by side right now so far v3 beta works without big problem.
but in my humble opinion
i would use v2 official for the important projects v3 beta to test / see / discover / catch the new features.

Version 3.0beta7 is available!

Improvements:

"Regenerate Rhythm!" button added in the phrase inspector (rhythm section, only for rhythm generators that use randomness)
MIDI CC messages sent by RC can be turned off (Reset All Controllers, Reset Pan, Reset Volume, see MIDI Settings)
Phrase inspector size stays the same when another phrase is selected or Apply button is pressed
UI improvements in phrase inspector
Open keyboard shortcuts in browser (2 columns view)
All memory leaks removed
Fixed a crashing bug when renaming groups in the phrase browser
Fixed a crash when pasting an empty track (without previous Ctrl-C)
[OS X] Recent changes to reduce CPU usage made the sequencer less precise. Old, precise sequencer restored, although this means a bit more CPU usage

If you have any specific requests for a video, I am sure Chris would put together a new one. He is very busy recently though.
