+1

It is also very annoying that the filters in some parts of Cameo creates a lot of crackles whenever it is tweaked :(
You already have Cameo?

How do you reckon that?

I tried to download a demo and wasn't able to, so I figured since you know what the filters do that you already own the program. :borg:

OK, as you are trying your hand at deductions.

Why not try to deduce some possible solutions for your own problems as well?

Deduce solutions from what problems? I was merely asking a beginner question, hardly classifies as a problem.. lol. I can see how high cpu use can cause filter crackles if that is what you meant to say, which one can make sense in knowing without owning the product.

It looks nice with a very reasonable price, but I will pass.
I have Bazille which more than enough for my phase distortion needs :D
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

Given that this is a UVI workstation instrument, I assume that it will load in Falcon. Does anyone know for sure?

It looks to be that way.

Any UVI library (and I have quite a few, some already with a few years), as well as all the Mach Five 3 factory libraries, run in Falcon. Since this is much more recent, there is no reason to think it doesn't.

Sold my CZ-101 to a Casio hoarding friend as Virtual CZ gave me better sounds.
As an owner of Falcon this is pretty tempting.
Any owners of Virtual CZ and Cameo comment on any differences?
$59usd is a great price until I factor in the shitty AU$ making it $82 :dog:

Yeah - £47 in the UK here once you add VAT.

Tempting, I like the GUI and the (intro) price is ok (but the full price, as for most of the UVI collections, is high for what you get imo).

I already have VCZ and also a Casio CZ-1...

Has anybody purchased this yet - any initial feedback ? Worth the money ? Plays nicely with Falcon ?

Lots of patches, lots of subpages, many options to tweak, filters are responsive

Difficult to say if it sounds like a CZ, as I never owned one. I like the sound of Cameo though, anybody liking 80's style synth sounds will no doubt do that.

Annoying popping when using filter in Cameo CZ, also annoying distortion when switching between patches in Cameo CM. Quite high CPU hit

I don't own Falcon so can't really say how well it integrates.

Full price will be $129 come Monday, as UVI allow license transfer for $25, I expect I should be able to sell it for $70 sometime in the future should I get fed up with it, and then will almost get the money back, so I find it a quite safe investment.
