Hey guys!

Not sure what to think of it. The GUI really gives me nausea to be honest. And that video down there is hilarious. Can't be serious... Magic sparkles, a glowing keyboard, headbangin' on a synth riff... Almost looks like some kind of a joke

But...Still, it sounds cool... Need to demo it. It's on sale as a separated plugin for $99

What do you guys think?

lol... that is a funny video, pretty 70s retro.

Honestly, I don't know if I ever used that algorithm on my H3000, but since it's part of the Anthology X package we upgraded to, I'll have to recheck it out.

They really should fix the softknob perspective and maybe the numbers on the keypad, etc.

They probably got the Eventide staff to perform in that video - quite hilarious

1100+ bucks for the Anthology bundle, rather steep...

yeah, that what i thought about the H3000 full price compared to the contenders on the current market, as UVI relayer for instance...

nice and rather unique sounding though (some presets reminds me of spectral delay) , but a bit restricted (and a bit outdated) IMO, even the intro price let me hesitant yet...

I'd say bigger problem than the GUI is the price. The GUI is much smaller

The H3000 Factory and H3000 Band Delays are separate entities both in their plugin list and in the Anthology X bundle. So unless "full" H3000 is yet something else, no.

Well I bought it and I am quite glad I did.
You get a lot of control for each delay and with the filters you can sculpt each band you are using (up to 8 bands).
I find the gui also quite comprehensive and easy to work with.
The official demos did nothing for me but as I heard an older demo, in particular the vocal example, I was really interested:

Finally the fully functional demo can tell if it's usefull for your work.

BTW it has similarities with PSP 608 Multi Delay.
I tried to mimic a simple preset I did with the H3000 Band Delays and could achieve a quite similar result with PSP 608.
The filters sound quite different though.
Also note that it seems as if the H3000 Band Delays does not allow an individual feedback for each band (or maybe I could not find the way how it can be done)
The PSP 608 allows an individual feedback setting for each delay.
Another difference between both plugs is the max. Delay length:
2.4 sec for Band Delays and 8 sec for PSP 608.

So what's wrong with Eventide? For me nothing about the plugs itself.
I just wished they would port the whole H3000 algorithms!
Until now they ported only 4 from 21 algorithms: Patch Factory, Modfactory one, Modfactory two and Band Delay.

I also wonder, in case they would port all the H3000 algorithms, how much money it will be considering how pricey the plugs already are.
At the end it will probably be more than the hardware!

So Psp 608 is better, glad I got it for $25 last month

I'm not even tempted by Eventide plugs when there are better options like Melda Mxxx, Reaktor, Magma, Mux....... (Tell me when to stop)

That is not what I meant.
Different features, or a longer delay time does not necessary mean better.
At first sight I prefer the filters of Band Delays and also the gui.
Also I find that everything you throw into the plugin mixes well together.
I just wanted to point to some similarities between both plugins.

To be honest is it wasn't the GUI I would probably jump on it. I like the eerie floaty delays it produces. The GUI kills the experience though & I find it difficult to work with

Doesn't say - it says taken from the 'H3000 Harmonizer studio processor' but they have a plugin version of that so does it include this as one algo out of many that they have now split off as a single plugin?
