H3000 Band Delays - What's wrong with Eventide ?

So is this already a part of the full H3000 plugin?

The H3000 Factory and H3000 Band Delays are separate entities both in their plugin list and in the Anthology X bundle. So unless "full" H3000 is yet something else, no.

I thought the H3000 'Factory' was the hardware unit ported to a plugin, and they say this delay is one algo from the hardware unit which is why it isn't clear if the 'factory' version also includes the delays algo or not (if it doesn't then it isn't a port of their hardware unit then)

H3000 Factory is the name of one specific algorithm in the H3000. It is not the entire H3000 ported to software.

Yes, so as pointed out, the H3000 Factory plugin is only a small subset of the total algorithms in the H3000 hardware. The H3000 Band Delays is yet one more algorithm. There's still something like 15 or more algorithms that don't exist in software yet.

So my thoughts on this:

1. Eventide, please create more useful modern UI's for your plugins, particularly the H3000 plugs

2. Release all the H3000 algorithms in a Reaktor/Molekular like modular UI please

3. Heck, port the entire H8000 to software

4. Consider reducing the prices on these individual collection of algorithms, or release a full blown H300

I'd like to buy these plugs because they sound awesome, but I really can't deal with the issues above. I'd buy the H910 in a second though if they unbundle that one.

Until today Eventide has recreated only 4 Algorithms of the H-3000 / 3500 Series in software:
The plugin "H3000 Factory" recreates the algorithms Patchfactory, Modfactory One and Modfactory Two.
The plugin "H3000 Band Delays" recreates the algorithm Band Delay.

The other Plugins founded in the bundle Anthology X are derivated from other Eventide Hardware devices.

I'd buy the H910 in a second though if they unbundle that one.

I have the vague feeling that they soon will do this after the promotion for Band Delays ends.

Honestly, I don't know if I ever used that algorithm on my H3000, but since it's part of the Anthology X package we upgraded to, I'll have to recheck it out.

They really should fix the softknob perspective and maybe the numbers on the keypad, etc.

I was referring to my hardware H3000 which has Band Delays.

As stated, the Factory plug-in is still just that (roughly equivalent to mod factory and patch factory on the hardware).

1100+ bucks for the Anthology bundle, rather steep...

It was on sale for less than half that, I think.

We had all their native plug-ins, so the upgrade was reasonable, at least compared to most of their other pricing… coming a little under the dealer discounted sale price in total with what we'd already paid.

Plus, we still have Black Hole and 2016 stereo room not included in the bundle, for a total of like 19 plug-ins.

I agree, it just made more sense to upgrade than not here... we have soundtoys v5 now, too.

That's a lot between the two packages, but I also have to admit that hardware nostalgia and virtual toy collecting get the best of me on this kind of stuff.

The proof of real value will be in use, and that will be seen over time.

Although, I fear that will be just iOS 11... in which case we're likely doomed for Mac audio.
