Yep! This is now of great interest to me due to the recent ‘off topic’ subject that has come up.

Given this how does it influence you with regard to using PayPal ‘If’ you already have an account.

Everyone else including those with PayPal – ‘If’ given the choice would prefer

Thanks for all who voted – I feel confident now that PayPal is the way to go, and any others reading this will too – but – having seen there is a few who would prefer an alternative I will need to investigate those options further. In the mean time I have added more packages and descriptions to my hosting site, with PayPal as the primary method.

For me it is not a matter of choice. If you use paypal I will not buy from you.

The reason is much simpler than me having a political agenda against you. It is Paypal having a political agenda against me. They refuse to accept accounts from South Africa. I am therefore not able to buy from you.

I'm not sure if they are still living in the 80's and think sanctions against Africa is cool. I wish companies would wake up and realise that the world has now moved on a bit.

"Can customers in South Africa open a PayPal account?"

"South African residents are no longer able to open a PayPal account because we do not have the ability to support South Africa at this time. We are continuing to further research this issue and will possibly re-add South Africa at a later time.

Note: South African members who previously had an account will be able to maintain it as long as the account information does not change."

Looks like something bad happened.

Anyway, before I used PayPal, I had several other systems, never got a single sale from South Africa. I even got some from odd countries, but not from there. Weird huh?

Also, sometimes is not a matter of giving options. Some people that hated PayPal bought from me using PayPal and changed theyre mind. They have the best service now, and for the Seller, they have the best rates and security ever. ShareIt charges way too much, and takes too long to pay you. PayPal you get the money on the minute.

I prefer paying via shareit, but I would pay paypal too.
I use paypal for now (until I get my site up for shareit

) for donations, or to sell things....always busy, but that's another topic

Why is it possible that more than 100 other international banks could succesfully do business with South Africa?

I just get pissed off because I am unable to buy many things I would like to get, especially since most people here at KvR sells through paypal and I can not buy their CDs.

One thing I must say, you can't just put the blaim on PayPal. You can allways send money in the mail, or even use Western-Union to send money. The few users that had problems with PayPal sent me money on the mail.

I remember some years ago, I had no Credit-Card, and wanted to purchase a synth. I sent money to the author, he didn't complain.

Another thing. You wanna know why you did not get any byers from SA?

Because we are third world plus.

Nigeria is on-line and have more users on the internet than we do. Guess what internet cost in SA. I have ADSL now for a month. Total bill including telkom cost, service provider etc is over $300 per month. F@q-sake

. That is 3 times more than the minimum wage in this country. We have to thank the Telkom monopoly for that.

You know what a musician earns for one night performance? About $50 a night if you are lucky to get paid at all.

So why 'd f@q am I spending so much time on the internet? Becasue I'm freekin' hooked. Becasue of BEN. And because of all of you. I am addicted totally on KvR and can not f@qing stop. It is worst than a gambling disease.
