So I had it working (I think), and I uninstalled the old [2.1] versions of z3ta 2+ which broke everything.
So I reinstalled and was able to lose the demo popups, however, it still drops audio periodically like it's in DEMO mode.
I uninstalled the Command Center; Z3ta; and everything, and reinstalled everything. At first it behaves like its in demo mode, but after a restart, it shows as registered... STILL dropping audio, as if it thinks that it's in DEMO mode.
This is absolutely the worst.

Did you actually get it working ? As in no audio drop outs/demo restrictions ? How did you get it to install and what version was it ?stardustmedia wrote:I was able to install it successfully without CCC on the second computer.

I've pointed a Cakewalk employee (not support) to this thread. They are aware of the problems and are "discussing it internally". He claimed that the majority of problems have to do with off line authorization but according to what I've read here that doesn't seem to be the case..........frabato wrote:So I had it working (I think), and I uninstalled the old [2.1] versions of z3ta 2+ which broke everything.

For me v2.2.0 works rock steady,
I had to be online with CCC running to get it authorized, but now I can work offline without CCC
I wish Cakewalk could describe more easily what they have updated in v2.2.0, except headlines I can't find links to anything here

It looks like 2.2.0.95 is the latest version in my account. Is that what you're running ? I wonder if the Waveshaper bug that people have been complaining about for years has been fixed ?

Yes, that waveshaper bug has been fixed, among many others.

there's no easy way to check the z3ta version on itself, there is?

I think this is the one people have been asking for........EvilDragon wrote:Yes, that waveshaper bug has been fixed, among many others.

"Resolved an issue reported where Z3TA+ 2.1 would not not automate waveshaper parameters with host-synchronized LFO (CWBRN-8874)"
Using 2.1 it's Options/About Z3TA+2 (then at the bottom of the page). Did they remove that with version 2.2 ?waltercruz wrote:there's no easy way to check the z3ta version on itself, there is?

So here's how I look at if from here........
In order to update Z3TA+2 (according to CW perhaps the following is not entirely true) I will have to install the Cakewalk Command Center.
I've read about enough issues here and at the CW forums that makes me hesitant to install the CCC and risk messing up perfectly working and authorized versions of SonarX3e, Rapture, Dim Pro, and of course Z3TA+ version 2.1 so I'll simply pass for now.

Can't find it!

But the manual says 2.2. But it's a bit cumbersome having to open the manual of a software to know the version.
