Hey there

I have a question about the presets. I downloaded Collaboration and the Pavel Vakhrushev banks. But is there a way to load the bank in to the presets browser? When I use "Load", it lets me load 1 preset at a time, not the whole bank, so I can not use cursor to just click next- I have to load presets every time. There should be a better way. Thank you.

There is, if you put them in the same folder as the other banks they load via the banks browser (spyglass icon next to preset name).

I can't believe I missed this one... What a fantastic synth :)

I can not find the presets folder. I installed Diversion on D drive/VST folder and i see .dll file, but not the presets folder. What is the name of the folder? It probably will not be located on a C drive for me as I installed to D, but at least a name... Thanks.

Is Diversion also sold via third party sellers like JRR shop or Plugin Boutique ?

How kind of you :tu:

Very impressed so far with this, sounds & fx are great, easy workflow with the one page programming, also these are some of the best presets I've come across in a synth lately.

Top quality

I really like the sound and features of Diversion (demo), but the CPU usage is just too high, even on my heavily overclocked i5.
Is there going to be an update that makes it run much faster sometime in the not too distant future?

Post

^I highly doubt, but who knows... It has been asked from the beginning, but I guess Dmitry doesn't want to compromise the sound. Not a single bit.

Post

Nope, he's made it clear in the past that there isn't room for optimisation. And I assume that means without compromising the sound...

Post

CPU advice in general: just turn off the oversampling altogether while tracking, also for unison patches - reduce the number of unison voices while recording your Midi and producing your tracks, then set the sound back to as it should be before rendering/bouncing.

Post

Yeah, being the minimalist that I am, I use chords and sounds with long releases just sparingly, so it never really bothers me, but it's quite the hog.
