Great.... BUT the installer is getting huge... :(

Could be the included samples and the extra stuffing. They should consider partitioning it up with optional downloads and a core installer.

I haven't tried 12 yet. Hope I understand FL's workflow better soon... Wetware obsolete?

How big is it?
Berfab
So many plugins, so little time...

Post

603mb (it already is mentioned in OP). ;)
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

Post

Oh come on. 603mb for the whole thing?

Post

Yeah, not really big considering all it includes.

Post

Could it possibly detect the 'bit' status of the operating system and install into c:\Program Files\Im... etc. by default if on 64bit ? It seems daft that the default is still the 32bit even on a 64bit system.

Yeah, it doesn't look like a big deal, but it can easily burn mobile data plans, which is what I'm using exclusively these days.... so yeah, a separate core installer would be very welcome....

Cheers..

Compared to what? Away with your FUD.
I was just about to write "you're probably one of those bright sparks on some pay per MB download internet plans", and then I read your previous post. Get with the 21st century and stop bringing up ludicrous complaints about non-existent problems.

Studio One for example...

Does it support dual screens? The one I tried yesterday didn't work on two screens.

I don't know if there is a good reason for that low a data plan. The plan I have for mobile is for unlimited gigs and it is not all that expensive. :?

Now, mind, it could be because of where he is as well.

I like those Veela patches, but will they work with the Mac version?

REAPER 5.1 is currently circa 8.5 MB

On Topic: Still not respecting the users plugin folder structure. Maybe it would be a good idea to sorta 'catch up' here and allow for that form of listing too, you know, rather than nullifying the users entire organizational concept by forcing everything into one endless list.
