The issue won't be out here stateside for awhile, but is the CM sampler issue out in the UK? Has anyone tried it? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="confused.gif" />

Not out yet <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" /> . The mag is on sale on the 31/07/02 (or 07/31/02 in your language <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="biggrin.gif" /> ).

Suscribers usually get it a few days before in the UK <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="smile.gif" /> , usually on a Saturday as I guess that Future Publishing have their deadline on the Friday before the issue date (thats how it usually works anyway). So, I'm expecting mine in two days time....can't wait!

I'm afraid that unless you are a subscriber you will have to wait a longer time for it to hit the stands in the US <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" />

You are gonna have to subscribe my friend, unless you want to be reading old news <img border="0" alt="[Scared]" title="" src="graemlins/1wscared.gif" />

That way they will send it to your door fairly quickly....you have to ask them how long it takes and how much it costs....Red??? Are you there?

I've been thinking about it, but at one point I felt I was not a beginner anymore and gave up on buying it. I didn't even like any of the samples. Then they started masterclass, the samples got a little better and then released two killer plugins that I find myself using more often than not. Any US subscribers know the going rate of a subscription? <img border="0" alt="[Love]" title="" src="graemlins/1love.gif" />

CM has got better over the last six months, hasn't it.

The reviews are more in depth, and the tutorials are more useful.

I have a subscription here in the states. I usually get it on the 11th of every month. It shows up at the newsstand about 3 1/2 weeks later, if not sold out by that time. A subscription is definitely worth it. It costs ( I think) about $89.

Is it gonna be available for us US people to buy on the CM website as soon as it comes out? And if so will that speed up the delivery process? I'm really looking forward to this plug. And yeah CM has improved a lot lately, the masterclass series really helps things out.

Ahem ... why the french edition of CM and FM just disappeared a year and ??? ago without warning and why computer arts still exists in french version ???

Since I've been rude about CM in the past, I guess its only fair that I should add my praise for the recent improvements, especially the excellent interviews with industry insiders.

Can't wait for the sampler. I've already got Gigasampler, but this one looks much easier to programme judging by the screenshots....

Didn't get mine either. Probably on Monday..gee im well excited. I just noticed over at the CM website they have posted up some instructions for fixing some of the 404 patches that come with it.

Going to have a go at it tomorrow, I shall let you know .. Going to see the Sex Pistols at Crystal palace later, so tomorrow is music day
I'll let you know .. someone else must have got theirs too and will probably post first.
Looks very interesting from the mag but I shall have to d/load the fixes for some of the patches that are mentioned on the CM Forum.
