You'd think that they'd have some record of who has downloaded and registered the app but hasn't activated the gift email link. They could then get in touch those who missed out and offer the link while they sort out the app. Still worth posting here to declare if you have had problems.

Aside from the sound, the main functional differences I would say is that ACE has two filters, whereas Beatzille has just the one (It is however a multi-mode filter with multiple outs for the different modes, so it is versatile that way), and ACE has two lfo's to Beatzille's one. But then bazille also has the sequencer and lots of oscillator crazyness.braj wrote:How does Beatzilla compare with Ace? That was actually on my radar more since I can better afford it.Echoes in the Attic wrote:Ya Beatzille could easily be sold as a plug-in for over $100 if Bazille didn't exist.

Whoa! I managed to bypass the hang, by forcing the app to run in landscape mode. Now, it hanged after clicking the banner, but I received the mail....
You know, this whole experience sort of elevates the free synth in question, as it was so hard to get, you enjoy getting it more, like you've beaten a difficult game.

Wouldn't it be something if these things had the ability to be patched to each other like physical modulars?Echoes in the Attic wrote:Aside from the sound, the main functional differences I would say is that ACE has two filters, whereas Beatzille has just the one (It is however a multi-mode filter with multiple outs for the different modes, so it is versatile that way), and ACE has two lfo's to Beatzille's one. I think that was something like what Urs had in mind when he started creating ACE, Bazille, etc.:braj wrote:Wouldn't it be something if these things had the ability to be patched to each other like physical modulars?

If you search for "u-he Berlin modular", you may find more info on that.

The app has some problems, UI also could be a bit improved, but to my surprise - it's actually a pretty cool app - pretty good for killing time when waiting in lines etc. Thanks!
