I'm getting exhausted with installations and maintenance. I don't think I like Agile programming.arachnaut wrote:I have two suggestions for the update installer writer:
1) remember the previous VST location
2) don't try to install PACE stuff again

Awesome video - love it when the information is so dense that you really have to pay attention.
Too many tutorial videos make me fall asleep...
Cheers,

You can already do it with the wavetable oscillator, in a way. Alternatively, you could definitely script one...maximoog wrote:@otristan,
is it possible to built in an Wavesequencer like in Korgs Wavestation in a futureversion?

One can also use key-switches to switch either between totally different wavetable synths within one patch, or use the same synth setup and just switch between different wavetables. Just assign key-switches in Layer Rules and edit each layer to taste.EvilDragon wrote:You can already do it with the wavetable oscillator, in a way. Thanks for the tips. I can not program my own scripts and I have not the time and desire to learn it.
The wavetable oscillator can not play complete samples, or that's possible? I would like to include WAV - Samples in the Wavesequencer.

You have numerous options:maximoog wrote:Thanks for the tips. I can not program my own scripts and I have not the time and desire to learn it.The wavetable oscillator can not play complete samples, or that's possible? I would like to include WAV - Samples in the Wavesequencer.
Build a round robin chain on keygroup level containing numerous wavetable synths containing a different waveform/table each and also include sampler modules, then the rr chain will step through the different oscillators with each note played. (You can of course also use round robin chains on layer level).
Or use e.g. 10 velocity layers, each one containing a different wt-osc or sampler, then use e.g. a step modulator to step through the different velocity zones.
Or layer wt-synths and samplers and blend the output signals with a Macro, the Modwheel, LFOs or whatever else.
The sky is the limit...

Just thought I would share an explanatory video for some Falcons which use bowed Chinese opera cymbals:

It's easy to do:David wrote:Lovely! Thanks so much, Simon. I wonder is there a factory patch that has a rr chain on keygroup level set up?
Insert keygroup -> choose “Add Oscillator“ by right clicking on the keygroup in the Tree View, set oscillator “Trigger Mode“ to “Cycle“, add another oscillator and so forth.
