I just gave in on the EastWest Composer Cloud. €32.00 a month for more than I'll ever know what to do with. Should they raise the price next year, I'll just render the tracks I've recorded, and let go.
Yeah. That's what I'll do. I can quit any time. I'm fine. Hmmmmmm......

So far, I am not impressed with the download speed. Not. Impressed. At. All. At one point, it was crawling along at dial-up speeds of 39k/sec. My setup can do 10megs/sec. This may end up being a short relationship.

And it's all KVR's fault! If I hadn't have seen the advert for the 'Composer Cloud,' I would never have bothered investigating.Nielzie wrote:Remember that brother. Remember. I bought Soundtoys little microshift and brainworx stereo-thingamagy. Don't even know what it does, but for $9 I can't complain.
Oh and for those folks getting Composer Cloud - BEWARE- if you, like me, don't use it for a certain period of time, deactivate it and you won't be charged. I wasted hundreds of dollars while the Play engine gave me trouble effectively rendering it useless. I didn't know about this deactivation feature till recently. Only after the latest update PLAY has started working again.
Is EW going to refund me for those lost months? Don't think so.
So, beware - if it quits working on you, get support immediately. In my case support tried to help but it didn't help.

Thanks for the heads-up! Did you update your DAW or OS, though?keyman_sam wrote:I bought Soundtoys little microshift and brainworx stereo-thingamagy. Don't even know what it does, but for $9 I can't complain.
