Well i loaded up the x/y ensemble and just got lost in the sound. I have not even made any custom ensembles using the new modules yet with my full version of reaktor6. So far my thoughts are that even for freebies these are very powerful synthesizers.

So is this Reaktor Blocks gift a "real" license or is it a permanent free product like Mikro Prism?

Only time will tell.cocoazenith wrote:So is this Reaktor Blocks gift a "real" license or is it a permanent free product like Mikro Prism?
Edit: Replika is costing €49 now aint it, but that was free
While with Skanner, the paid version was later released as Skanner XT
Blocks is a much deeper product than Skanner though, so I would be amazed if there would appear a Blocks XT in january for sale

I think the Blocks XT is buying Reaktor 6Numanoid wrote:Only time will tell.cocoazenith wrote:So is this Reaktor Blocks gift a "real" license or is it a permanent free product like Mikro Prism?

because it lets you patch the modules however you want.
This kind of like a taste of Reaktor 6 for free, but only for those lucky enough to get a code. It's possible that they will slap a low price tag on it later, because these are very useful sound design tools. I could see them selling this for $50 and then let you crossgrade to the full Reaktor at a discount.
Now i wonder if they will increase the modulation sources in this for all the blocks in the future so we get more than A & B.
In the meantime i can use bitwigs modulation system.

Sure, great that they do thatsprnva wrote:I was glad to see it on offer again. I missed it and Devil-Loc.
But to have a new present for x-mas is also nice. Dunno why users need to measure them up against each other?
"This one is better than the other"
I say be happy for both
