I saw the 2015 Brit Awards where the Royal Blood performed.
I was stunned by the great sound the duo produced just by the drums and 4-string bass, and their vocals, quality of songs and performance is unbelievable.

First I was certain that they use background tapes, but no, that's live.
The "basist" uses really skillfully pedals. Ordinary looking dudes - extraordinary sound. This I have to see on the stage, pitty they are sold out on their tour.
