Prize: Voxengo CurveEQ...

Competition: Design a damn cool logo for my studio (since saturn9 studios has been royally f**ked by the IRS, and we've changed buildings, lots of equipment etc..)....

Rules:

1. There must be 25 or more entires and votes for the prize to be distributed. (else its just a washout and useless eh?)
2. Any resolution/dpi, but please try to keep it reasonably high, this WILL be in print in various magazines, online ads and most likely clothing.
3. No copyright infringement or trademark infringement! or anything that resembles it.
4. logo must be directly relational to, and bear resemblance to: SigmaDelta Audio Labs.
5. NO obscenity or profanity. You can be racey or wild long as no one is obviously offended... cause if you offend someone HERE you're probabaly gonna lose me some business elsewhere lol.

The logo is for the company: SigmaDelta Audio Labs
If you want pictures of various things (outside of large studio shots, since we dont "do" that kinda stuff) just ask. I got a pretty mug

I will run a "vote" thread with all the entries listed if there is considerable involvement (over 25 entires) and let the community decide, if it's a close (within 1-2 votes for 3 or more) vote Ill pick my favorite and just give the top people all some cool prizes.

I can accept and convert anything. I wanted to leave that open since not everyone has XX software.... Anyone can download Gimp and give it a go!

As for file specifications, that is also up to the artist. I will scale to fit in the proper places and convert to the necassary specifications for the need.

If you wanna make a movie or something, go for it. hey, if people like it Ill find something cool to top off the prize

Very first thing in the post

Recording studio, demo mastering and software sales (and some select hardware). Also do onsite setup for certain things, full systems etc... Mostly I specialize in a/v (more specifically even, music) editing, and hope to make this a main focus outside of software sales.

Who is SigmaDelta Audio Labs? is this a new company to offset the old irs hit one?

How long has it been around, what art does it have so far - where can we post the images etc.

Yes. We purchased a new building, sold, and bought new equipment (minimal and digital).

We have recently just applied for two new EIN's and licenses, and the first client under this name will be paying shortly after the legal stuff is completed.

where to post the art, I will be hosting it on my freeshot (or upgraded) once I get the problems Ive talked to you about fixed (domain troubles).

If someone wants to offer up some free space till then, that would be great.

CurveEQ is really a fantastic prize too! awesome EQ with some great capabilities! and some of the best support out there! It's a steal!

Also there is no art yet. I plan on revolving the entire company image (till the necassary change of image happens in say a few years)... around this logo. Perhaps if something really great comes out I may wish to privately contract the winner to do all the graphics for me? who knows what may happen...

Good place to show of talents for other people who may want your services too!

Oh! I suggest Vector Graphics for logo’s as they can be resized without loss of quality with the original file – so a .xar or .psd should be your intended end product for it to be of any use to you – of course for posting reasons this initial inspection should be in .gif or .jpg – higher quality examples in .tiff or .bmp

But you will need the original file in the end so it can be altered or rendered at it’s optimum quality.

Preferably it should involve few colours (going to print – the more colour the more expense) – maybe a web version in all it’s glory and a transfer type and magazine types could be made – so three classes.

Look for simplicity = the most effective in logos.

I am no expert – these are just things that popped into mind after seeing your post
