I don't know if someone is already doing this...(if so i want to buy your presets RIGHT now!!) BUT...
Why don't preset designers design plugin chains in the DAW to be paired with the preset they created for the patch. hard to describe -- easier to just give an example:
So lets say you designed a bass sound for Sylenth AND you want to Sell to FL Studio owners...why not create the bass sound in sylenth (like you usually would) BUT THEN go the extra step and also use some stock fruity plugins in the sylenth mixer channel (i.e. add a FL compressor, or FL chorus or FL flanger etc etc) THEN save the plugin chain as a fruity loops mixer state file (which can be loaded in any FL Studio daw) with the name of the preset it's for.
This would give sound designers WAY more freedom for sound sculpting AND a way to make stuff sound WAYYYYYY cooler/better than what's just available by designing a preset in a synth.
You could even offer a separate download option for MORE money with this added feature. I would pay for it in a second.
Let me know your guys thoughts.

I'm sure others are already doing this. I am currently doing this with my Massive patches and will do it for other synths I have where I assign DAW FX and Macros from Live and Bitwig and save the synth in a chain, just open the rack and tweak your fav soft synth. It's good for the end user and extra work but worth it IMO.
Using a synth with DAW FX as chains makes for a lot more possibilities. I may also convert my other banks at some point so as to take full advantage of the two DAWS mentioned above but I'm too busy having fun on hardware to be assed to play with software right now

I would if FL Studio was full on for Mac. Love that piano roll etc. If you have FL Studio why don't you try and program a pack for it, might be good for yourself. There's gotta be thousands of FL users out there. Give it a try, choose your fav synth and start making chains. Sylenth/Massive would be pretty popular or even the FL stock plug-ins are pretty cool as Iv'e heard. Maybe make some chained Instruments and FX and sell them yourself.ddeez wrote:man Rob awesome! Would you consider doing it for FL Studio? Know anyone who is doing it for FL?
