If there was one plugin you would give away....

Oh that's a tough one. I would say AAS Ultra Analog, but, that ridiculous cakewalk studio instruments or whatever it is is somewhere, if I could gather that up, but then, I wouldn't really want to wish the cakewalk thing on anyone.
All that said, I'm not interested in hassling with giving away plugins that are already licensed to me and really have little value to anyone else. Free plugins and magware are probably better. Just download your own christmas gifts.

I have two that I would love to give away and hope to never see again: SpectrumWorx and Eiosis E2 De-esser.
Both are so unstable for me that I don't even have them installed anymore and, of course, support is pretty much useless/non-existent and neither developer allows license transfers. Definitely my two biggest wastes of money ever.

I did a few give-aways in the marketplace in the past for a few commercial plug-ins I had no need for. I basically took the time to organize a give-away with a deadline. Once I got enough names I did a random draw for the winner and gave the winner the prizes.

I just gave something away... Oh yeah, Recycle. I thought I couldn't update it to the latest but then after I had told the guy I'd give him my older version for free but by that time I just thought, "f it. Merry early Christmas."
There's a lot I'd give away. Most of it doesn't let you do license transfers or is already NFR. Shame really. I have a lot of stuff that I no longer really use much. I'm sure I'll never use Poly Ana again, but he doesn't do license transfers. A lot of it is 32 bit that I can't be bothered to use in J-Bridge. (Drumaxx, Sawer, Toxic Biohazard, Octopus, Extreme Drum Synth, Bong come to mind) I should probably give away or sell The Drop. I've honestly never once used it. Once I start digging into the plug ins that I got with my XITE-1 (DSP based plug ins by Creamware/Scope) I'll probably ditch a lot of native plug ins.... I probably will never use VAZ Modular again, for instance. I should do a big "VSTs for the needy" give away" just to clean things out.

The only problem with is, making sure that the people are truly "needy" in the first place.
I would hate to give away something to someone who wants it, but doesn't really need it. I've gotten more suspicious lately of people who take advantage of good natured people.
You know the people who pretend to be needy etc.
Maybe i just need to have more faith in humanity.

Probably the update to Waldorf edition 2. The "update" is completely underwhelming and I regret paying $11 or whatever it was. Seriously. It's been like 8 years and their still rocking the gameboy-sounding percussion sounds on attack. And dpole still sounds like shit. Thanks for the shitty gui refresh, man.

Maybe I could try and sell it (never registered) but maybe the original owner would get pissed off at me then...
