Yes but i don't think that Presonus would allow them offer it without permission so i'm sure we'll get the strip soon.bronxsound wrote:that was the ultimate goal.aMUSEd wrote:I just wonder if this was more a data harvesting exercise?
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

Not that I realy care that much, I am fed up with channel-strips, sick and tired almostmurnau wrote:Obviously they changed their mind again even on west coast it's 25th now.murnau wrote:First they said 15th now 24th hope they not changed their mind finally..
But sure they left a bad impression, that's what stands back,..
Promisse something, not very hard to keep, and then choose NOT to keep it, not even inform minimal,..
Haha, happy holidays,..

Still no peep from Presonus.

I consider Lawrence an asset to this community, especially to Studio One owners.trimph1 wrote:Don't get Lawrence in here...bungle wrote:Quite probable, somebody should inform Presonus, wheres lawrence hahaaMUSEd wrote:I just wonder if this was more a data harvesting exercise?![]()

I don't know about data harvesting, I think they are hoping for new users to try the demo and feel more invested somehow because they 'own' two plugins for the platform. And that works for me, as long as the plugins eventually show up.

Ok, if you go to the original link in the OP, the results are in, I won nothing in the raffle, but of course I'm in it for the plugins, which should be here soon. I can't wait.

OK, just got the email, registered, launching S1 now
Yipee!
...and it further highlights issues I'm seeing in Studio One with my multi-soundcard setup. For some reason, if I use ASIO4ALL with these two, these plugins throw an error when turning them off and on. Yesterday I noticed S1 couldn't send a multi-instrument to two outputs sets, now this. I think S1 can handle ASIO4ALL using multiple soundcards for input, but there are some weird issues when adding the outputs. I guess I am back to using one output then, bummer. I liked my 'headphone amp' setup, but if it makes the system unstable, its not worth it. Maybe my new year's resolution should be getting a new soundcard and retiring these two.

I got my Channel Strip, too. I can't believe it... I thought it was a fake or data harvest fest... The CS are very good quality. A very nice xmas gift. Thanks Presonus for that.
