Christmas Gift 2015 from WOK

Been thinking about Bassimo again.
It's remained one of my favourite great-sounding, no-nonsense monosynths since I first downloaded it as a World Music Day gift all those years ago (and I don't think my SH-101 has been out of storage ever since ... wonder if it still works?).
And version 2, with that new filter - Oh, my! - and polyphony ...
... hmmm ...
I only ever record with mono instruments anyway.
But I also have my favourite 'kick back and chill' synths - the ones that map easily to a control surface, so I can turn off the monitor and improvise any tensions away (often by candlelight!), patching on-the-fly.
Bassimo is one such synth. (SAM is another. I actually prefer it to Arturia's clone - not saying it's 'better' or 'more authentic' or anything, just that it's more to my taste.)
But I'm going to have to admit defeat.
So: there's a(nother) tenner in it (for WOK - not you!) if anyone can tell me how to switch between mono and poly modes - without starting from one of the presets (which is what I do anyway: 'default' and 'init' are generally the only type of patches I ever load - I don't even save my own!).

None of the really dumb people I knew when I was young are young any more.

EDIT: I'm an idiot and scrolled past the original reply in my inbox (not even spam) a dozen times. Thanks!! Donation will be incoming once I fly back.

Still not too late to donate, though!Dewdman42 wrote:its Dec 26 here. Guess I missed GMT by 4 hours. Kinda lame.
Perhaps if we appear grateful enough for his extraordinary generosity, WOK might just repeat last year's amazing gesture and give people another chance to receive his gift over the New Year.
I've no clue about the 'offline' donations, of course - but judging by how much the GFM total has risen, I'm not sure anyone should really get their hopes up.

"Non-GoFundMe"-Donations are added manually into the sum (which reflects the total, so).Syntilla wrote:I've no clue about the 'offline' donations, of course - but judging by how much the GFM total has risen, I'm not sure anyone should really get their hopes up.
If enough money would be raised, I would spend time and re-release all my plugins as freeware/donationware....

I'm just thinking that OP is going about it the wrong way, if €20K is to be reached.
I would have set €20 donation as a minimum to get the pack

And maybe the main WWW page should include descriptions of all plugins with audio examples, to make more people want them.
We know WOK plugins are good, but some other VST enthusiasts may not.

great idea, lend him a hand and start coding that html won't you? life's hard, lots of stuff going on, there's literally too much to do. if you can't make it to the blue collar work party, i'm sure wok could use a district manager in your jurisdiction.Mutant wrote:And maybe the main WWW page should include descriptions of all plugins with audio examples, to make more people want them.

Exactly! Keep in mind you'll still get 44 plugins for a minimum of 5EUR!!! Of course you should donate more if possible!!!! Spread the word! This guy needs our help!!!Syntilla wrote:Still not too late to donate, though!Dewdman42 wrote:its Dec 26 here. Guess I missed GMT by 4 hours. Kinda lame.
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.
