Interesting that they venture into the synth market. Judging from the price they want to compete with top synths. And judging from the development team behind it, they might as well achieve that.
It is geared at film score, special effects etc., I take it?

Synplant + Operator + samples as in Blue II. The interface is all macro, so you're in effect sound browsing/exploring an algorithm, as in u-he's new reverb.

The devs/designers of Biotek come with a lot of experience for sure:
Wolfram Franke -> Waldorf -> Largo, PPG 2V, 3V
Taiho Yamada -> Alesis -> QuadraSynth, Andromeda, Fusion

Does their synth activity mean that their DAW is now finished and bug-free?

would be nice to try a demo. initial thoughts it seems a bit expensive however its target market wont just be Tracktion users its not locked to Tracktion which makes me wonder what they have in store for T7.

Well, there was only one bug in 6.2.4 that was bothering me and they fixed it in 6.3 so yeah - I guess they're done (until 7)fluffy_little_something wrote:Does their synth activity mean that their DAW is now finished and bug-free?

"4 OP FM with any sound source like VA waveforms or samples"
What does that actually mean, and what other plug(s) can it be compared with?

Looks designed with 'touch' in mind.
All JUCE plugs are multi touch
