:?:
It might have been discussed before ... but ...
If I record audio in OPlat, the recorded .wav file
ends up at:

C:\Program Files\OrionPlatinum\Songs\Audio Data

Is there any way to designate a location for audio data on an external hard drive in OPlat, or do I need to uninstall OPlat from C:, and the rinstall it to the external drive?

Thanks for any help,
ik.

What's worked for me is to create a blank song, save it someplace, and then exit/restart OPlat and re-open the song. At that point, any audio recorded ends up in a subdirectory called "Audio Data" in the directory where the song was saved.

I've not found a way to specify where the audio data goes, you might ask on the Synapse Audio forums that are on the Synapse Website.

I'm sure there's an easier way, but once I found a workaround I just stuck with it! :?

Usually for the little I've actually recorded on Orion myself (usually use external hardware and add tracks via .WAV pasting with Audio Track), I'll make a folder of the song title after recording and plunk all the loose clips for the song into that folder. Next time I open the song to work on, it'll prompt me 'Cannot Find XX Samples, Find Now?' and I'll just go C:/Program Files/Orion/Audio Data/SuperDuperNewSong Folder. And it'll find all the needed samples with hopefully '0 Missing' at the end, and I just CTRL+S after to avoid these messages again. ;)

Ik's a Orion man - Tres Cool!
