I don't think Sylenth is more than his hobby, so I am happy about any update, frankly.

I like the tight bass sounds it makes :)

I wouldn't be so sure about that.
LennarDigital is a young, innovative and refreshing company based in Arnhem, the Netherlands. It was founded in 2006 by DSP and software engineer, producer and sound designer Lennard Addink.
Don't think they would call themselves a "company", and have forum reps here providing infos on new updates, and giving support, if it was merely a hobby for Lennard.

He probably had the same text on his site 9 years ago :hihi:

Also, it is common to exaggerate in that business. Almost every lonely developer makes it look as if they were a company in order to appear more serious. Some even refer to themselves as 'they'. For instance the guy behind Poly-Ana if I remember correctly.

as mad as i was (and i was mad) at lennard for not getting to a 64bit AU for years...the company is stepping up to the plate. the beta works great in logic X, ruben answers questions (in email, and on the lennardigital forum). they're (finally) moving forward. and sylenth1 remains it's own thing. that's good stuff. regardless of how it's been, this is how it is now.

A plugin that's barely changed in nearly a decade still sells well and is completely ubiquitous in most areas of modern dance music.

If you continue to argue about it's 'inferiority' in terms of it's features, you probably don't get the reason people dig it.

People dig it because Hardwell uses it to make bangers bro. Sick bangers. If Hardwell uses it to make Beatport top 10's, why can't I?!

That exactly what I said when reading the post. I thought it's a spelling mistake for Hardware :hihi:
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

I know what headbangers are, maybe that makes them feel sick, it sure would make me feel sick :hihi:

I suppose that's not what Sylenth was intended for :hihi:

But I like how it sounds, only half a dozen Sylenth instances with built-in effects. *No mixing, mastering or related skills were used in the making of this file* :hihi: It's hard to make Sylenth sound bad :) Interestingly people keep saying it lacks bass, while I particularly like it on lower octaves.
