I don't know whether this is standard behaviour or some glitch: Windows 7 Pro, Falcon in standalone mode. When using my (QWERTY) keyboard I only get a sound when I first click on the piano keyboard at the bottom of Falcon. Whenever I change any setting in an oscillator or effect (or perhaps everywhere) I have to restart the procedure: mouse - click a note on Falcon's pianokeys before I can use my puter keyboard.
It is a bit odd and there can of course be a reason for this.
But then I'd like to know what.
Thanks!

Yes, virtual keyboard does not have focus all the time and it should. It's kinda annoying and I made Olivier aware of that situation
Also, virtual keyboard starts too high at an octave higher than middle C. Should start at middle C, and should be moved one row up (so that Q key is middle C, not A key - they could fit more than two octaves by using 4 QWERTY rows instead of just two)

Anyone have idea about these? Don't I just find them or are they really not there?raymondwave wrote:I don't know if this is already covered earlier (too many pages to scroll through), but it seems to me that many MachFive wavetables are missing in Falcon. Analog Classics, Digital DW, Analog CS Legacy, Digital CZ, German mQ.. I really liked and used a lot of these. Am I missing something or have they been dropped? I can see some of them are in there, but only a few and they are sorted differently now.

As you have said, some are here renamed and cleaned of some artefacts , others have been removed and a lots have been added.raymondwave wrote:Anyone have idea about these? Ok, too bad, those single waveforms were the main reason for me using MachFive synthesis in the first place. Nothing like them in my other synths. Need to go through the new ones then.otristan wrote:As you have said, some are here renamed and cleaned of some artefacts , others have been removed and a lots have been added.
Thanks for the answer, now I know I haven't installed something wrong or so.

Olivier, any chance of bringing those waveforms back to Falcon?

So if you made patches in MachFive using the missing wavetables what would happen if you opened them in Falcon?

They will open fine as the wavetable are technically still here in the product resource for compatibility purposes but not listed in the UI.aMUSEd wrote:So if you made patches in MachFive using the missing wavetables what would happen if you opened them in Falcon?

Something I have been wondering about and which is a black hole in my general knowledge: how long/large can samples be?
I mean: it would be great if I could enter 5-10 minute wav files in Falcon. Because they do not have to be CPU processed anymore.
Would this be possible? FYI: I have 64GB Ram on my PC.
Thanks for reading and evt. answering
