Maybe I missed this, but just in case its news I'll give you guys the heads up:

Daniel released the Bread n Butter 2 bank on his page. The mp3 demos sound awesome! I've come to accept I can't program Rhino worth a f**k, but who cares when you can buy these for $10?

Your file name is:
16e80a6822e5ba337cfabc7537579d37_rhino-2.0-setup.exe

would'nt it be nicer to download a file named:
rhino-2.0-setup.exe ?

I grab it anyway for a test ride !

My fault - I left the old prerelease files available for download, and these show up if you login after typing your site code.

Anyway, now there is only one file available for download: "Rhino 2.0 demo", dated July 30 2004. That's the one

Just tried the demo and was blown away by the sounds that this beast could make. It fits in with my style perfectly. My VSTi cllection is now complete, I made the leap and bought it.

As a registered owner of Angelina and Rainbow I now have the Big Tick Trilogy. Thanks for making this such a wonderfull sounding synth.

Some questions tho, how many presets are in the factory bank for Rhino? I downloaded the Demo and placed the key I received into the Rhino folder as was noted in the instructions. How do I know that the regkey worked, I don't see my name on the synth GUI like I do with other synths?

Will be having fun tonight.

I know. The first part of the filename is actually random. This is to prevent people from linking directly to the file, as this would result to broken links after a few months...

Not sure if I did this correctly. I copied the key file directly into the Rhino installation folder but am still opening Rhino as a demo. Can anybody help me figure out how to get Rhino to register?

There are 64 presets in the demo, showcasing the synth features. You can also download a lot of additional 64-presets banks from my site.

When registered, it displays your name on the 3rd line in the "info" page.

I agree: those who install the final release over the pre-release MUST delete the dll before!
But while vfs conversion I get two errors!

vfs conversion ?!? You don't need any... The new installer comes with its own, fully working vfs.. and you don't need the addon1.vfs any more, since it's now included in the demo.

I didn't download the pre-release, first because I was having some DAW issues but secondly I wanted to be surprised.

Rhino2 is absolutely unbelievable!

Yes, Tick, I got the error message twice while the automatic conversion! But today I deleted the rhino.vfs in the folder before reinstalling and everything workes fine now. No Errors occured. Thanks

apologies if this has already been covered, but how do I make the demo registered? I can't see anywhere to put my serial number so I can't load any banks. Also, when first selecting Rhino 2 in my host, it displays 'invalid patch/bank format'. Any clues?
