Sadly I think they rushed this out the door at the last minute to catch Xmas and the iTunes vouchers it brings. It seems just a little too buggy/crash prone for me.
Mind you when it is stable and has a couple more tweakslike Better ways of getting clips in and out, LINK, and some way of recording its own sounds (anyone for Audiobus ) it's going to be awesome

Has some AB connectivity (allegedly)
Can record sessions and export them to audioshare
Lots of bug fixes.
Still needs better midi import/export but getting better fast !

Nice bunch of bug fixes...hopefully this is the start of good stability...the amount of work and time thats obviously gone into this program is huge and been a long time coming...in a way I'm glad they released it so folks could at least get their hands on it....I have every faith that Modstep will be one of the best apps out there for comprehensive midi sequencing (and a lot more).Its truly powerful and versatile, finally a dev has taken the task on, I'm sure the initial disappointment for the early buyers will be appeased.It deserves it.

Irig midi 2 arrived today and timing's a lot better. Even wrestled many bassline101 ccs and it's fine.

Luckily Pascal helped me out, just needed to empty Sessions and Autosave folders via itunes.
