I mean: it would be great if I could enter 5-10 minute wav files in Falcon. Because they do not have to be CPU processed anymore.
Would this be possible? FYI: I have 64GB Ram on my PC.

Thanks for reading and evt. answering

Your RAM is the limit, nothing else. If you're using a 32-Bit DAW, around 2 GB will be the limit.

Your RAM isn't even the limit as the SamplePlayer oscillator stream from the HD.
The limit for broadcast wave is 16 exabytes
Don't try to edit it though as the editor load it in RAM

In case some Falconistas want to end the old year or start the new year with some fresh Falcon sounds, I just released my sample and sound library Falcon AIR containing 102 patches with 2.57 GB of original samples, 25 wavetables, 11 images, check it out here.

Thank you both.
I use Cubase 64bit so I can do evt editing in there. It's just that I like Falcon so much I try to use it for everything music.
Good that I also use SSD's so streaming can be no problem.

@ Simon: I am interested in your Falcon Air but Falcon made me go beyond my budget, having already purchased Relayer and Linplug Spectral, so unfortunately I could not make use of your offer. But I am interested to dissect your creations and learn a lot from doing so.
I'll probably visit your site early next week.

For your sci fi freaks, here's a patch from my upcoming Falcon Landing library called Transporter Room.

Patch is simple FX controlled by mod wheel and 4 sliders controlling 4 different CC controls. Virtually unlimited combinations of sounds are possible given the slider configurations. The demo is one key held throughout.

The library is complete and will go on sale sometime after New Years.

It's 600 patches and breaks down as follows.

ARP Rhythm 72
Bass 30
Bells 28
Drums/Perc 24
Experimental 25
FX 24
Granular 65
Keys 22
Leads 82
Multi 27
Organ 32
Pads 101
Plucked 24
Poly Synth 44

It also contains over 500 meg of wavetables and samples that you can use to create your own patches with. Many (not all() of these are included in the 600 patches in the collection.

The set will normally sell for $69.95 but for a limited time will sell for $35.

When it's done, it'll appear in the KVR Database, News Section and Soundware forum.

It cannot be purchased at this time.

I'll have more traditional demos to listen to over the next week or so.

Another one of the more unusual patches from the library called "Granular Symphony". 4 layers controlled via 4 keyboard sliders and mod wheel.

Recorded in real time. No editing and no external FX, compression or limiting.

Sorry Simon. I assure you it wasn't intentional.

And with 600 patches, I'd be shocked if there weren't at least a few duplicates.

I am late to the party I see, but the Falcon seems like a must have for 2016 - shame I missed the discount.

Here's another Falcon track.

25 instances including 10 drum tracks. No external FX except for a limiter on the output buss.

Drum track pattern was created using Jamstix and then exported to MIDI and then separated into individual tracks which were then imported into Battery 4's Hip Hop drum kit and finally mapped to Falcon's drum and percussion sounds which is what you hear in the finished track. All instances of Jamstix and Battery 4 were deleted prior to recording.

All sounds available in the up and coming Falcon Landing Sound Set which contains over 600 patches and multis.

Enjoy!

Some requests :D
I would like to set the amount of a modulation to fixed parameters. F.e. from a min 10% to a max of 80%. It´s a bit too much of clicking and switching for me to get exact values when i try to get the amount of LFO´s and their range right. Especially if an LFO modulates and LFO which modulates an LFO etc.
Then i still would like to have a fast and easy way to add f.e. 8 different samples (or more) in one keygroup and could blend between them via modulation (polyphonic). So that i hit a key which starts with a piano, morphs into a cello, into a sustained string, etc etc and ends with a sustained bellish sound f.e.
It´s way to complicated to get such things done at the moment with many samples.
It´s possible for sure but it´s not fast and easy for me.
I can´t get fast usable results when try to modulate the volume or filter etc. for 8 (or more) different keygroups to do such things withz the right timing. Also the cpu usage is still too high to get really complex.
So a vector synthesis modul (with more than 4 sources and sample import) would be a huge addition for me and would solve this issue. Please think about it at least....
Then..... XY pads as macro control please!!!!!
Cheers and a happy new year!

Joyeux Noël UVI! :tu:

This bears repeating.. I just picked up Vintage Legends earlier today, and haven't been able to tear myself away from the keyboard. ~11GB of sounds.. For $99. VL has got UVI's CS-M, Energy, FMX1, Kroma, Synthox and U1250 synths. The patches are done up in UVI/Falcon ease - so they're accessible and easily tweaked from Falcon. I got lost on the FMX1's "DX1 Full Tines" for way too long... reminiscing the good ol' DX7 (on steroids) days . The U1250 has excellent acoustic sampled instruments and orchestral sounds. There are literally hundreds of mention-able patches / programs in this set from the other synths .. but it wouldn't do it justice to just mention a couple. Oops.. I mentioned the DX1 Full Tines. Well.. that's because it pulled me back. Anyway - highly recommend, if you haven't spent your Falcon voucher - this deserves a look. If you already spent your voucher -- for $99... this (imo) is the deal of the week.

Does anyone with Galbanum Architecture Wavetables know if the x64 versions for Kaleidoscope work with Falcon? Or do I need the wavetable version?
If you have to ask, you can't afford the answer
