First, I have nothing to do with Patchpool, except that I am a customer and fan of Simon's brilliant work. I had the pleasure of spending the last several hours with AIR, which I purchased weeks ago on the pre-sale and FINALLY just received the download links today. Falcon sound developers (and future developers) should REALLY pick up this library and use it as reference to the quality that Falcon is truly capable of when you take your time and do it right....and have the talent to create such things, of course. :tu: Regarding AIR, the source material is very fresh sounding, none of the sounds clip one bit (but are loud and full), very detailed information is given on every patch in the info. section along with a great accompanying manual, AT and MW are used creatively, and most important, it sound freaking incredible!!!!! If every developer would aspire to do what Simon has done with AIR, I and many others will help keep you and your families fed for many years to come......I promise. :)

+1 - got it today too - glad Simon took time over this, it shows

I don't own AIR, but judging by the demo tracks, and methods that Simon took to create the set, I can only imagine how brilliant it sounds in the hands of a Falcon owner.

Yep, in his style of making patches no one around here can touch Herr Simon 8)
If I was having enough cash I would go to Germany sitting outside his entrance as long as he would allow me to daily assist him for a month at least while doing his sonic alchemy, as Igor was assisting Herr Frankenstein in giving back life to the dead

For after going back to my humble lab and start messing around :)

I am planning a workshop thing in 2016/17 with participants from all over the world actually, just have to find ways to finance it and make it affordable for people who would like to come to Berlin for a week or so.

Sean, I thank you for this detailed review and your continuous support, I took the freedom to quote your post on the website.

When I thought I was finished yesterday early morning I stepped through the patches again, six hours later I was finally done, leveling 102 patches and making final fine-tunings, ironing out little quirks and peaks is a never-ending, Sisyphean, slightly insane thing...

That would be cool! Keep us posted as if it will happen in a period I have enough savings I'll surely come! Venice (or Bologna) to Berlin is not that hard with economic flight :)
....and then we may also go to meet "Frau Blücher.....iiiiiiihihhhiiii" :-D
Cheers

Looking forward to getting these sounds. I'm working on getting the crossgrade to Falcon from Mach V, and will buy the sounds as soon as I get the bird..
waves break, but somehow it all makes sense.

Hey, my Wade, nice to see you around again, I had feared you had fled to Syria, like the opposite direction of what everybody else is doing right now.

Well Syria would be warmer than Northland...

I'm still here very interested in sounds still but am working on getting a stable work situation, seems more I try to please the more difficult some people get. But the bumps in the road will get smoothed out.

Main thing that's new for me is that my income is growing

Maybe then it's time to try, not to please everyone too much? Gets you more respect in the end...

Brilliant, thank you - the last thing I read was $ 149 for the cross-grade and they still have their discount thing on, I think.
