I'd hope for a much better looking gui, as well as better slicing features,a new sound engine wouldn't hurt it either.New Browsing features are a no brainer, so hopefully they get this right.

They need better GUI, library listing and sound sorting. Years ago when we all had smaller collections of sounds, it wasn't a big deal. Now... it's hard to navigate or know exactly what I have to look for specific sounds because there are so many damn libraries.

I think I have a problem...

For me the biggest issue is the automation system needs a complete rethink. It's just not possible at the moment to apply automation template to a whole library, you can only do it one instrument at a time and even then you can't resave the automation as a template to be applied to the rest of the library.

...you're right on this one. It would be great to have something like this (even greater, if we had something like this for NI plug-in in general

) - however, I doubt we'd get something to fix this conveniently. They have already introduced the Kontakt snapshots with v5.4.1 that adresses these issues, but I think, it'll be the sample library developer's task to convert their older libraries to this new scheme...

Indeed. Also, I would like a better way to see libraries that are not Kontakt player and do not have issued Kontakt licenses.

The working window are in the Gui is stupidly small, too. Developers should be able to use more real estate.

That's why there's QuickLoad.

My thoughts exactly. There are ways of auto-assigning automation IDs to controls via KSP, but it has to be done by the developer.

Komplete 10 was released in October 2014, as they usually have a 18-24 month between versions, Kontakt 6 could already be out in April?

Instead of obsessing over a release date, I'd rather know what the overall obsession end users crave from NI.

Are we on the same page? New gui, better browser n organization options , better automation options to make it cohesive, not just for developers,but users..Ni has its work cut out for themselves,they've made a great product here. Hopefully they are listening and making it happen..

Kontakt 6 - any rumors about release?
