Bliss works great! I would like to see sf2 export, because Ableton Sampler and Halion don't import sfz.

Yes, using cues from tempo and then slicing destructively (Cue menu).

how does bliss handle destructively sliced samples? does it package it into the patch itself, or refer to a location on the computer? not at my station right now but trying to get a good, safe workflow down.

often i am editing/slicing samples in reaper projects that i haven't saved yet, so it may be referencing a file that might not be in the same place later.

Bliss loads the sfz's from Cakewalk's Discovery Pro without problems.
The pianos may not be measured in gigabytes, but sound
pretty good to my old ears. I think there is a Cakewalk account
for this for sale in the marketplace forum, including Rapture.
A Cakewalk employee is the man who invented sfz, so it's little
surprise they work. There are many lackluster attempts at sfz
compatibility out there, that fail, or the sounds lack parts of the sfz specs.
